RALIENNE

Ralienne Nacional began playing piano at 7 years old.  Before attending Douglas Anderson School of the Arts for high school, she studied in California where she accomplished both Branch and State Honors at the MTAC-Certificate of Merit.  During her high school years, she found a deeper love for music in both classical piano and music composition.  This passion of hers brought her to Vipiteno, Italy where she won the Ruby Holland Junior Prize at the Orfeo Music International Music Competition.  Ralienne is grateful for all the opportunities that Douglas Anderson School of the Arts has allowed her to participate in, such as Extravaganza, Roscolusa-professional songwriters festival, Orfeo Music Festival, PTA Reflections, and many in-school performances.  Ralienne believes that she would not be the musician that she is today without the guidance from her teachers.  She would like to recognize her parents and brothers who were the backbone of her unpredictable journey.  Ralienne plans on continuing the next chapter of her life at the University of Florida majoring in Piano Performance.
